Figure Technology Solutions reported $4.3 billion in consumer loan marketplace volume in the second quarter of 2026, representing a 132% increase from a year earlier. Net income rose 192% to $87 million, while net revenue more than doubled to $226 million. Figure Connect accounted for $2.8 billion, or 65%, of total quarterly marketplace volume. The company expects consumer loan marketplace volume to reach between $4.8 billion and $5.2 billion in the third quarter as loan applications continue to accelerate.

Figure Posts Strong Second-Quarter Growth

Figure Technology Solutions reported significant growth across its lending marketplace during the second quarter, with consumer loan marketplace volume reaching $4.3 billion.

The figure represented a 132% increase from the same period a year earlier, highlighting continued expansion across Figure’s digital lending infrastructure.

The company also reported a sharp improvement in profitability.

Net income increased 192% year over year to $87 million, compared with approximately $30 million in the second quarter of the previous year.

Net revenue more than doubled to $226 million, while the company’s net income margin increased by 10.5 percentage points to 38.8%.

Figure Connect Drives Marketplace Activity

Figure’s marketplace volume includes home equity lines of credit, debt-service coverage ratio loans and personal loans processed through its loan origination system.

The total also includes third-party loans traded through Figure Connect, which represented the largest component of the quarter’s activity.

Figure Connect accounted for approximately $2.8 billion, or 65%, of the company’s $4.3 billion quarterly marketplace volume.

The marketplace itself was launched in June 2024 and has continued to expand rapidly.

Volume on the marketplace increased 262% year over year during the quarter.

Loan Partner Network Expands

Figure also expanded its network of loan-origination partners during the second quarter.

The company added 102 partners, bringing its total number of loan-origination partners to 489.

The growing partner network provides Figure with additional channels through which loans can be originated and subsequently processed or traded through its marketplace infrastructure.

The expansion also comes as demand for the company’s lending services continues to increase.

Weekly Applications Surpass $1 Billion

Figure CEO Michael Tannenbaum said weekly loan applications surpassed $1 billion in July, providing an indication that momentum continued after the end of the second quarter.

The company expects consumer loan marketplace volume to reach between $4.8 billion and $5.2 billion in the third quarter.

If achieved, the forecast would represent another increase from the $4.3 billion recorded during the second quarter.

The guidance suggests Figure expects continued growth in lending activity despite broader uncertainty across financial markets.

Blockchain Infrastructure Gains Attention

Figure’s lending marketplace has also attracted attention because of its use of blockchain technology and the transparency that blockchain data can provide.

Bernstein analysts predicted in May that Figure would record record second-quarter marketplace volume.

The analysts pointed to live blockchain data as a potentially useful tool for investors seeking to monitor the company’s lending activity in real time.

This creates a different approach to tracking financial activity compared with conventional reporting cycles, although blockchain visibility does not necessarily provide a complete picture of a company’s financial performance.

Digital Lending Model Continues to Expand

Figure’s latest results highlight the continued development of digital lending marketplaces that combine loan origination, trading and blockchain-based infrastructure.

The sharp increase in marketplace volume, partner participation and loan applications indicates that Figure’s platform is expanding beyond its earlier scale.

The growth in Figure Connect activity is particularly significant because third-party loans accounted for nearly two-thirds of the company’s quarterly marketplace volume.

Closing Insights

Figure’s second-quarter results demonstrate accelerating activity across its digital lending marketplace, with $4.3 billion in consumer loan volume and net income reaching $87 million. Figure Connect’s $2.8 billion contribution shows the growing importance of secondary loan trading within the company’s business model, while the addition of 102 lending partners expands its origination network. With weekly applications exceeding $1 billion and third-quarter marketplace guidance of $4.8 billion to $5.2 billion, Figure enters the next quarter with continued momentum across its blockchain-enabled lending infrastructure.
